For this theme we are encouraging our artists to explore different aspects of our purpose— the past and the present— that shape our purpose and the possibilities of how we implement it. We are exploring and reflecting perhaps the biggest question: what is your purpose in this life?

The highest form that a Blackfoot can attain. Cultural perpetuity is an understanding that you will be forgotten, but you must ensure that your people's important teachings live on.

According to Freud, "the ego is that part of the id which the direct influence of the external world has modified. The ego represents what may be called reason and common sense, in contrast to the id, which contains the passions (tug of war)
