Art is my form of escapism. Art allows me to communicate my feelings, thoughts, and emotions without judgement. Art is my lifelong friend who allows me to express myself freely. I spent my early years falling in love with art forms of all kinds; reading, writing, music, and painting were some of my favourite activities as a child. The most notable venture I pursued as a child was going to thrift and vintage stores with my grandma. I learned how to find beauty in things that were unwanted and broken. 

I've always known I was a creative person. As a child, I pursued many creative endeavours such as music, visual art, and creative writing. Interestingly, as I've gotten older, my love for the arts has been overshadowed by things like school, work, and figuring out my identity.
