Filmmaker, Creative Director, Branding Specialist (She/Her)
Meet Kiara Brown
Kiara Brown (she/her) is a creative director and branding specialist best known for her innovative approach to content production and results-based branding strategies. As an Etobicoke School of the Arts alumni who majored in Acting and minored in Film, Kiara further refined her media-production expertise by studying Public Relations in college.
This blend of on-screen, behind-the-scenes, and industry experience means she understands how to captivate audiences — and strategically capitalize on their attention. By analyzing the growth and success of her past creative projects, Kiara developed a powerful multi-media strategy for brand growth. From publishing articles for the Toronto Caribbean Newspaper to presenting original films at Toronto District School Board conferences, her creative diversity has not only propelled her career forward but has also given her the capacity to help educate and propel others.
Though she is multi-faceted, her clever way with words — and the web — is her greatest asset. She has a reputation for turning passive observers into her biggest cheerleaders, a blueprint she enjoys sharing with other ambitious changemakers. Kiara's ultimate goal is to build a creative empire backed by a strong, unshakeable team, combining the skills she has gained through both life and literature. In the meantime, she continues to work with brands and passionate individuals who are equally committed to financial success and deep personal growth.
"This Little Light"
Short Film By Kiara Brown — Artist Statement [EXCERPT]
Kiara’s drive for creative success has been evident since childhood. Once she discovered her love for storytelling, she explored nearly every avenue of art that would allow her to do so. As she grew older and learned about the power of film, her entire world flipped upside down. It was the perfect combination of every art form: music, literature, visual art, vocal expression — the perfect way to tell a story. Since then, she has told herself that any film she creates would be more than a motion picture; it would be a message, a lesson, and a part of her story.
